Enclosed Soft Starts – 3RW40/44 Soft starter update

Siemens is proud to announce the expansion or the 3RW44 through 600HP in open style units.  The attached spreadsheet contains the complete current offering up to 600HP.

Also, Siemens will launch the 3RW40 and 3RW44 in an enclosed product offering starting in Jan 2007.  This initial offering will cover enclosed versions of the 3RW40 from 75HP to 300HP at 460V.  The 3RW44 offering will range from 15HP to 300HP at 460V.  The new enclosed styles will also have new nomenclature to distinguish these new products as follows:

- Non Combination styles = Class 73 (old Class 70)

- Combination styles in Circuit breaker or Fusible disconnect = Class 74 (old Class 71)

These new offerings will be available in a choice of NEMA 1, 12, 3R, 4, and 4 stainless steel enclosures.  More information will be available soon on Sitescape
