Siemens
Energy & Automation has developed a new business partner program
called the Siemens Panel Builder Program. With this program, we
will recognize panel builders that exhibit good business practices
and foster a strong partnership with Siemens and our Channel Partners.
To enroll in the program, a panel builder must select an authorized
Channel Partner and jointly complete and submit the enrollment form.
This includes establishing a joint sales goal in conjunction with
Siemens and your Channel Partner each year during the annual business
planning period.
Program
benefits range based on levels of enrollment. There are 5 levels
of membership: 1-Star, 2-Star, 3-Star, 4-Star and 5-Star. A Panel
Builder will work with Siemens to determine the level it qualifies
for based on sales volume, growth and exclusivity criteria. All
Solution Partners with the Controls and Circuit Protection module
are automatically qualified as a 5-Star participant in the program.
The key design elements of the Siemens Panel Builder Program are:
- Marketing and Sales: Target Account
list; CD leadership (account conversion assistance); SieLect on-line
configuration tool
- Technical support: Access to technical
support on Siemens products and solutions, primarily through electronic
means
- Incentives: Co-marketing funds;
Literature funds
- Education and support: Step 2000
Training material
- Relationship management: Access
to timely, consistent information, tools and support based on
your relationship with Siemens
